1Who we are
mineracks.cloud is operated by mineracks pty ltd, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. The service is built to need as little of your information as possible.
2What we collect
- Your Nostr public key (npub) — this is your account identifier.
- Contact details you choose to give us — for example an email address, if you provide one for support or updates.
- Billing metadata — invoice amounts, timestamps, and Lightning/Bitcoin payment references needed to provide and account for the service. We do not handle card or bank details, because you pay in bitcoin.
- Operational logs — information such as IP address, request metadata and system logs, used to run, secure and troubleshoot the platform.
- Support communications — anything you send us when you ask for help.
3What we don't collect
- We do not require KYC or identity documents to sign in.
- We do not take custody of your funds — payment appliances are non-custodial and hold their own keys.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4How we use it
We use the information above to provide and bill the service, to keep the platform secure and reliable, to provide support you ask for, and to meet our legal obligations. That's it.
5Your instances
The data inside the appliances and desktops you run is yours. We access instance contents only where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain or secure the platform, to provide support you request, or where required by law. You are responsible for your own backups and for what you choose to store.
6Sharing & third parties
We share information only where needed to run the service or where the law requires it. Our main infrastructure provider is Cloudflare, which handles DNS, network routing and tunnelling to reach the platform; requests to mineracks.cloud pass through Cloudflare's edge. Otherwise the platform runs on hardware we own and operate in Australia. We may disclose information to respond to lawful requests or to protect the platform, our users, or others.
7Bitcoin & public networks
Payments happen on the Bitcoin and Lightning networks, which are outside our control. On-chain Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public ledger. You are responsible for your own transaction privacy.
8Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to make the service work — for example a signed session cookie to keep you logged in after you sign in with Nostr. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9Where data lives
The platform runs on our own hardware in Australia. Network traffic is served through Cloudflare's global edge. Depending on where you are, your information may be processed in or transmitted through other countries as part of normal internet routing.
10Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and security obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. If you close your account, we remove what we no longer need to keep.
11Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the law and to information we're required to keep. Because your account is a Nostr key rather than an identity on file, in most cases the information we hold about you is minimal to begin with.
12Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the service develops; the “last updated” date above shows when. Questions, requests, or privacy concerns? Email [email protected].
